（路透紐約12日電）美國佛羅里達州奧蘭多市1家同志夜店高達50人慘遭槍手屠殺後，臉書隨即啟動其「平安通報」（Safety Check）機制，這是這項功能首度在美國啟用。
平安通報於2014年10月首度推出，可在天災或危機發生時，讓位於受影響區域的使用者報平安，他們的狀態也能供其他人搜尋。
今天1名槍手持長槍闖入美國佛羅里達州奧蘭多市1家擠滿人的同志夜店，造成高達50人死亡，為美國有史以來奪命最多的槍擊案件。
警方之後在這家名為Pulse的夜總會擊斃槍手，他的身份經證實為是29歲的佛羅里達居民、美國公民馬丁（Omar Mateen）。中央社（翻譯）
